Question for Prospective Renters

What are the requirements to lease an apartment?

Foxglove Management does not discriminate against residents or prospective residents based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, or age. Foxglove Apartments does, however, require favorable credit, an unblemished criminal and previous housing background check and monthly rent cannot exceed more than 40% of your monthly income. For more information contact a community directly and a leasing agent can answer any additional questions.

Do I need an appointment to view an apartment?

No. You may come to our office and leave a valid photo I.D. with one of our leasing agents. Our knowledgeable staff can give directions and assist with finding the right home for you!

How much will I need to pay for a Security Deposit?

The security deposit is 1 month’s rent for all properties. The application fee is not refundable. The security deposit is refundable with the exception of $100 which is non-refundable; and will be returned to you after you move out less any costs associated with damages, cleaning, or unpaid rent.

What are the lease terms?

We offer a 6- month lease term with a $50 premium per month, and a 12-month lease term.

What utilities are included?

There is a cap of $45 for water and sewer only. Electric will be assigned to the resident’s name.

Trash is paid for by the company. Residents are responsible for providing their own cable and internet.

What is your pet policy?

Southern Cross apartments are the only pet friendly units. There is an additional pet deposit of $500 and a monthly pet rent of $50. Contact one of our Leasing Agent for more information regarding breed restrictions.

Service Animals: If the animal is a service animal for a disabled person, pet deposits are not necessary and breed restrictions do not apply. A signed Letter Regarding Support Animals from a qualified professional verifying the need for the service animal along with proof of current rabies shots and licenses (if legally applicable) is required.

What floor plan sizes to you offer?

Available units vary in size and style and can range from 500 sq. ft. to 1300 sq. ft. Most units are 1 or 2 bedrooms.

How much is the application fee?

Foxglove Management requires a $60 application fee. This fee is non-refundable and covers the necessary background and credit checks.

Can I pay my rent online?

Absolutely! We want to make it as convenient as possible for you when you pay your rent.  [Click here for Resident Portal]

What if I find an apartment I want but I am not ready to rent today? Can Foxglove hold my apartment?

No, we are not able to hold a vacant apartment. You are welcome to begin leasing the apartment available now or reach out to us closer to the time you are ready to move. We suggest 30-45 days, so we can select from our upcoming availability.

What if I have an afterhours maintenance emergency?

We offer 24-hour emergency maintenance so when issues do arise we’ve got you covered!

What if I must move out before my lease is up?

Foxglove does offer a lease break option if the situation does arise. If you are required to vacate your apartment prior to the fulfillment of your lease, you will be charged an early cancellation fee (equal to one months rent) and forfeit of the deposit.

How much notice is required to end my lease?

Foxglove Management requires a written 30-day notice to vacate.

What happens to my lease if I have not given notice?

Once you have completed your 12-month lease, it reverts to a month-to-month contract.  Even with a month-to-month lease, we still do require a written 30-day notice to vacate. You are welcome to renew your lease for another year without paying a 5% increase for a month-to-month contract.

If you move out without giving a 30-Day notice, you will then forfeit your deposit.

What is a "held by deposit"?

This is when you decide to rent an apartment sight unseen by paying the security deposit.  When that unit becomes available, the lease will start and that is when resident becomes financially responsible for the unit and is able to move in.
